Dorsa Sbhani’s father was attacked by 6 intelligence agents today as he was leaving the family house.

RAHANA – Dorsa Sbhani’s father was attacked by 6 intelligence agents as he was leaving the family’s house in Sari. Mr. Sobhani was severely beaten and taken away in handcuffs and blindfold and was interrogated for 4 hours. He was told by the agents unless he turns over Dorsa by Saturday, he will arrested along with his wife and his other daughter and their house will be confiscated.
According to CHRR, Sobhani family’s house had been raided in the early hours of Wednesday March 3, by 6 intelligence agents in an attempt to arrest Dorsa who was not home at the time of their raid.
Dorsa Sobhani is a member of the 1 Million Signatures Campaign. She was denied university entry because of her Baha’i faith and has been active in the movement for education rights.
