The mullahs’ regime is offering Yemen $2 billion in economic projects in order to avert the interrogation of its arrested terror cell in this country, the Kuwaiti al-Seyassah daily reported.
“Through its diplomatic channels the Iranian regime has given commitments to Yemen’s government on initiating projects worth $2 billion in Yemen’s energy sector and other fields in return for preventing interrogations of its terror cell members arrested in this country,” this prominent Arab language daily wrote.
The members of this terror cell, active in Yemen from 2005, were arrested in August with their commander being a Revolutionary Guards officer. This terror cell had an operations room in Yemen’s capital San’aa and was involved in directing spying and terrorist operations in East African countries from San’aa.
“Saudi Arabia has encouraged San’aa officials to continue and complete the interrogation of this terror cell and hand them over to court,” al-Seyassah added.
It is worth noting that following the apprehension of this terror cell Yemen’s president threatened the mullahs’ regime on exposing its terrorist measures throughout the world.
